The Impact of ICT and FDI as Drivers to Economic Growth In ASEAN-8 Countries: A Panel Regression Analysis

Over the last few years, information and communication technology (ICT) has become a key catalyst for economic growth. The durability of this is demonstrated by rapid proliferation Internet, mobile phones cellular networks across globe. However, among scholars, question exactly how spread ICT affects development FDI, especially in ASEAN countries with differences levels income, remains unanswered. aim study was essentially to explore relationship between dissemination, FDI growth ASEAN-8 countries. By using data from 2003 2017, panel regression analysis used evaluate these relationships. results showed that dissemination are important they have positive effect on countries’ development.
